FRIDAY SCHEDULE:
MEET AT STUDIO AT NOON FOR MEET/GREET AND LOTS OF CHATTING.

Approach from the north – 5th Ave is one way south.
We will take a photo walk to Pita Jungle for lunch and back at 1PM, arriving back at the studio for more casual conversation at approximately 3PM. The walk is less than a mile each way and goes through some very old neighborhood streets of original downtown Phoenix.
Dinner will be at Macayo’s, Phoenix, at 7PM.
We dismiss after getting back to the studio.
SATURDAY SCHEDULE
Meet at studio at 9AM for a morning photo walk into downtown Phoenix. Approximately 1.5 hours. Back to the studio by 11AM.
I will pick up the van at NOON, and head back to the group for a trip to the Superstition Mountains and a mid-day lunch at Tortilla Flats. We should have models with us for shooting in the desert lakes/canyons. Also will have some lights to use.
Back to studio by 6PM for dinner and story-telling by the STORY CREW.
Dinner venue is still under consideration.
WEATHER:
I will keep you posted as we get closer to the date. Today it is 73, we are looking at high 60’s / low 70’s at this point for the future dates. For those of you planning on the trip to the north country, I can guarantee it will be cooler than previous trips, and expect snow in Grand Canyon, Flagstaff, Zion, Bryce and Canyon DeChelley. Woot for that,

This list is now two people short from the list we had when I booked the van, and planned expenses. This will impact the cost per person I am afraid. We are down $600, so I am trying to work out the costs so it will be minimal impact, but expect $340 per person or thereabouts.
Fee will definitely not exceed $320 (we have two folks who have had to bow out, and I am working to keep the fee as low as possible) per including gas. We have very low gas prices and they will continue into February. Additional mileage may ding us a bit, but even then I believe we will be good.

How you arrange your groupings is up to you.
Most expensive hotel is Zion… but all others are pretty inexpensive.
WEATHER NOTE:
In previous years we have had very mild temps. This year that may change. I expect lots of snow in Zion and Bryce, and a bit cooler temps in the higher elevations. Chinle will be moderate and Page warm. Grand Canyon will have snow at this writing… so BE PREPARED.
